Capacity development
IKI Small Grants supports Ecoclub Rivne in their organisational capacity development through:
- Training for all Ecoclub employees in EU standards for environmental regulations
- Development of the organisation’s operational plans that takes into account the environmental aspects of Ukraine’s integration into the EU
- Development of staff’s personal development plans
About the organisation
Ecoclub is a non-profit NGO in Rivne with 20+ years of experience in preserving the environment, focusing on energy saving. The organisation registered as NGO in 1998. Ecoclub influences policies and strengthens communities to increase energy efficiency and spread renewable energy sources. Its area of work includes involving people in energy policy, policy decisions, renewable energy sources, and environmental impact assessments. Ecoclubs has experience in similar projects in the field of energy efficiency. It has implemented several projects funded by GIZ as well as the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the European Commission.
